This was really nice!

The sprites were cute, eye-catching and expressive.

The voice-acting added a lot to the mood of the characters, oh my god that was really good!

The story, themes and dialogues were all excellent. You had me hooked all the way through!

SPOILERS I loved all the little details and humor added about the trans-girl experience.

The topics this story handles are pretty heavy, and yet the way they’re handled feel intimate and appropriate.

Also, Adelaide is so cool, I got a crush in her now.

My only issue with this project are little technical details.

The narration in the middle of the screen was a bit tiny for me, and there was a lot of it, so I had a lil’ hard time reading that, but I managed.

This other thing didn’t really affect my experience, but I noticed the main menu is overlapping, which makes looking at the history log cluttered.

Besides that, I loved everything about this one!

A really good entry in this Jam!

Thank you so much!!! A lot of people pointed out the novel mode text feels awkward and clunky, I didn't have enough time to iron out the technicalities sadly but if I make a continuation I would love to stylize it a bit more. Thank you for the feedback!

I loved this game a lot. Kristine's plight really got to me, and while I'd love to see a conclusion, I understand why that isn't really possible. "so it goes". While I personally am not super into a lot of your discography (no shade obviously it's great just not personally my thing) I absolutely adore "Date Out" (listed in the files as "grunge song"). At around :30 where the synth starts playing is perfection. Also my jaw dropped when Kristine said she was from Orange County bc I'm there too! Never thought I'd hear someone say that in a visual novel. Excellent.

Thank you!!! I would love to make a continuation and write a proper conclusion for these characters. Also yeah my wife is from Orange County, New York and I actually stayed there for a few months last summer haha

So where in Orange County is Kristine from?

Middletown

Very cute short little furry game, and omg the music and the refrences in it amazing

Thank you so much!!!! I'm proud of the music haha

This was really sweet! The sprites are all really well done, and each character has a really fun and distinctive personality. The voice acting is a big help with that! Everyone did a really good job! I also really liked how you tackled heavier topics; not shying away from the realities of abuse, but showing how things aren't hopeless either. We can save each other together! <3

Thank you so much!!! The heavier stuff is something I was worried about, whether I did a good job or not. I saw your submission for the Yuri Jam as well and I thought it looked so cute! It has such a cute and unique art style :D

Thank you! ^^ If you give it a try, I hope you enjoy it!

I like when I can jump into a queer narrative with characters and a setting that are very unlike what I'm used to in real life and have the writer manage to get those things across without trouble, to the point I almost felt like I was in New Jersey buying bad coffee and being in the midst of a very anxiety-inducing situationship with my bandmates, lol.

Very strong character writing, and the designs and art style are very cute and messy, very fitting for this story and these characters.

Loved it!

Oh god thank you so much! That is so lovely of you, I'm really glad we achieved that!!! :D It's a very specific type of setting that I wasn't sure would resonate with people outside my group haha
